Psarotherma is a small complex of thermal pools located on the hill above the village of Therma, with stunning views towards the harbor of Thermi.
Discover the magical world of Psarotherma in Samothrace and relax in thermal pools with stunning views.
Ascending a dirt road to the right of the Municipal Hydrotherapy Center, you discover a lower outdoor pool, accessible via a rough path and some steps. There, you can relax and enjoy the view towards the sea.
Opportunity for Therapy, Relaxation, and Revitalization
These thermal pools have been recorded as existing here since medieval times, but they may have been known in antiquity as well.
Recently, Psarotherma was officially recognized as a spa resort, enhancing Samothrace as a destination for spa tourism. This recognition confirms the value of the area and offers opportunities for medical treatment, relaxation, and revitalization.
There are also, a little higher up the road, three pools with different temperatures. Although officially referred to as "foot baths," they are used for full immersion.
The temperatures of these pools are much lower than those of the Municipal Baths. From the highest of these pools, you can sit in the evening and enjoy the lights of Alexandroupoli while relaxing in the warm water.
